Responsibilities include Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, serverless and containerized applications, APIs, integrations, databases, observability, authentication, AWS account provisioning, and troubleshooting across application and infrastructure layers. The role collaborates with architecture, security, application development, integration, and release engineering teams while developing reusable deployment patterns and automation.

Leads execution across a digital technology portfolio, translating strategy into delivery plans and coordinating Product, Engineering, QA, Architecture, Data, Salesforce, Security, Infrastructure, vendors, and distributed teams. Oversees software development efforts, manages scope, risks, dependencies, capacity, and tradeoffs, and provides portfolio visibility to leadership. The role also requires technical depth in cloud architecture, APIs, integrations, SDLC, mobile technologies, and modern application development, while coaching teams and improving delivery practices.

Leads technology prioritization across Underwriting and Product, establishing a framework and operating model for intake, governance, backlog management, capacity planning, and trade-off decisions. Facilitates alignment among business and IT leaders, defines development readiness standards, and ensures technology resources support the highest-value business initiatives. Requires personal lines insurance knowledge, agile product management experience, strong stakeholder influence, and the ability to build processes from scratch.

Lead state-specific actuarial pricing for major markets, partner cross-functionally to drive profitability and growth, support rate filings and regulatory interactions, enhance pricing methodologies and tools, analyze trends and exposures, and mentor actuarial analysts through the rate filing process.

Support pricing strategy for Homeowners, Auto, Excess Liability and other lines by developing indications, refining methodologies, conducting countrywide studies, managing state filings, building tools/processes, and communicating results to stakeholders to ensure competitive, compliant pricing.

Leads strategic development and lifecycle management of personal property insurance products, including product innovation, roadmap planning, pricing and risk-selection collaboration, partnerships, market research, and cross-functional delivery. Defines technology requirements, improves member and broker experiences, manages analysts, mentors product teams, and represents the organization as an insurance product subject-matter expert.

Develop and execute territory business development plans for the Northwest, managing broker relationships, appointing and growing brokers, increasing production, rehabilitating or terminating underperformers, building COI partnerships, and collaborating with stakeholders to achieve regional growth and profit targets. Frequent travel within the territory required.
