Nova 401(k) Associates Benefits Overview

Identify and engage investment professionals and plan sponsors to sell Nova's TPA retirement plan services; deliver presentations and webinars; maintain frequent contact with intermediaries through on-site visits and events; analyze market trends and provide feedback to management; build strong partner relationships and attend periodic offsite sales training.

Build and maintain Python automations and multi-system integrations for 401(k) administration. Responsibilities include developing API and webhook integrations, managing production jobs, troubleshooting errors, refactoring legacy code, deploying projects, improving logging and code quality, documenting processes, and collaborating with business users, vendors, and IT. The role requires ownership of automation projects from discovery through production and focuses on resilient, scalable workflow improvements.

Reviews retirement plan administration work, including nondiscrimination testing, trust accounting, Form 5500, contribution calculations, and safe harbor compliance. Interprets plan documents, monitors ERISA and Internal Revenue Code developments, provides feedback and training to junior staff, and supports process improvement and client service projects. This is a fully remote quality assurance role without a client base.
