Develops thermofluid and reaction models for custom reactors, using CFD, FEA, analytical modeling, and experimental data analysis to support design, optimization, troubleshooting, and model validation. Collaborates with experimentalists and process engineers to design tests, extract parameters, develop data-analysis methods, and implement parametrized reactor models in plant-level simulations.

The Staff Controls & Automation Engineer will design and own a control architecture for chemical processes, focusing on automation, advanced controls, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize plant operations.

Build and maintain R&D data infrastructure for experimental, manufacturing, and QC data. Implement DAQ integrations, databases, validation checks, analysis pipelines, visualizations/dashboards, and perform statistical/regression analyses to support cross-functional technical teams.

Build and own R&D data infrastructure for lab and pilot hardware systems: acquire and validate time-series/sensor data, design schemas, create pipelines, analyses, and dashboards, and partner with scientists and engineers to support statistical/regression studies and QC/manufacturing insight.
