Oversee inpatient rehabilitation program operations including clinical, financial, and administrative performance. Ensure regulatory compliance, manage budgets and strategic plans, supervise and develop staff, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, analyze metrics and lead quality improvement, and represent the program internally and externally.

Lead and manage a 32-bed ICU, overseeing patient care, staffing, training, budgets, compliance, and quality improvement. Promote evidence-based practice, monitor ICU metrics, and drive continuous performance and service enhancements.

Verify and approve physician medication orders, manage the computerized pharmacy system, supervise pharmacy technicians, monitor medication management processes, order and store medications, and participate in quality improvement to ensure safe, effective medication use.

Lead and oversee hospital RN case management: assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care from admission to discharge; provide clinical leadership, education, advocacy, and manage patient loads and staff timelines.

Lead and oversee a hospital-wide Continuous Quality and Performance Improvement program. Use data analysis to measure performance, drive process and system improvements, manage risk and patient safety, investigate adverse outcomes, coordinate regulatory/accreditation readiness, and provide CQPI education and reporting to leadership and committees.

Implement individualized restorative programs under PT/OT/SLP direction; assist residents with ambulation and transfers; sanitize therapy equipment; document and report resident observations; provide resident-centered care; lift and carry up to 50 lbs; participate in on-the-job training.

Lead the hospital's risk management and compliance program, oversee incident reporting and litigation support, train staff and leadership, coordinate investigations, and serve as facility Compliance and Ethics Officer to mitigate organizational risk and ensure regulatory adherence.

Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and support month-end close for designated facilities. Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts, assist with budgets and forecasts, support audits, prepare and review journal entries, use ad-hoc reporting tools for financial analysis, and identify process improvements to maintain accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Manage monthly contract billing for rehabilitation units: gather and validate billing data in Net Health, prepare pre-bills, finalize invoices, and upload files to Oracle. Reconcile billed revenue to the general ledger, prepare related journal entries, perform post-close reviews, and support financial reporting and internal controls. Identify and resolve billing discrepancies, improve billing workflows using Excel automation and AI tools, and serve as a primary contact for stakeholders.

Performs clinical utilization reviews for admissions and continued stays, verifies insurance certification and coverage, coordinates with managed care and treatment teams, completes pre-/re-certifications and appeals, documents denials, and supports discharge planning and insurer peer-to-peer reviews.

Act as the strategic bridge between business stakeholders and AI engineering: identify automation opportunities, translate business needs into engineering specifications, prioritize and manage a use-case pipeline, produce executive-ready AI communications using LLM tools, ensure governance and security compliance, track ROI of deployed solutions, and lead stakeholder engagement across units.

Manage daily operations of physician services, including staff supervision, hiring, scheduling, performance management, budgeting, compliance (e.g., HIPAA), vendor/contracts oversight, equipment and supply management, and promoting professional development to support organizational goals.

Support month-end close and post-close reviews for assigned hospital sites, perform P&L and balance sheet analysis, manage joint venture accounting and regulatory filings, liaise with site leadership and technical accounting, ensure internal controls and accurate financial reporting, and assist with budgeting and variance explanations.

Provide restorative nursing interventions under RN supervision to help patients regain function and independence. Support therapy goals, report condition changes, assist with quality and safety activities, collect review data, participate in team meetings, maintain clinical competency, and contribute to client relations and administrative efficiency.

Manage clinical rehabilitation services including patient assessments, treatment observation and recommendations, pain management coordination, staff scheduling, productivity oversight, family education, compliance with documentation and departmental inspections, and other assigned duties to ensure effective rehabilitative care.
