Build and lead Form Energy’s Employee Relations function, including investigation processes, case management, policies, reporting, and escalation frameworks. Manage a complex, high-volume caseload; conduct legally sound investigations; advise senior leaders and People Partners; coach managers; identify systemic risks through ER analytics; and collaborate with Legal and other People teams. The role is hybrid in Weirton, WV or Somerville, MA and requires travel to company locations.

Conduct electrochemical testing on iron electrodes and battery cells, build prototype cells, prepare and characterize materials, troubleshoot testing protocols, maintain cells, and organize and analyze test data. The role supports anode technology development in a hands-on laboratory environment, with responsibilities growing toward independent problem-solving and method improvement.

Lead electrode engineering programs from prototyping through mass production for iron-air batteries. Manage design release schedules, supplier fabrication, procurement coordination, technical risks, milestones, and cross-functional execution across engineering, manufacturing, operations, and supply chain teams. Improve program management systems, facilitate decisions, and communicate progress and risks to stakeholders throughout the organization.

Develop and optimize multiphysics models for next-generation iron-air batteries. Collaborate with R&D and Battery Engineering teams to identify model-to-data gaps, support AI agent workflows for large-scale model deployment, and lead development of a front-end interface enabling engineering teams to interact with the models.

Build and operate streaming and batch data pipelines for energy-storage telemetry. Design reliable, query-ready time-series and event datasets using open table formats, orchestration frameworks, AWS, and infrastructure-as-code. Lead technical designs, partner with field operations and engineering teams, support on-call operations, and mentor engineers while improving data reliability and engineering practices.

Lead compensation benchmarking, job architecture, pay review administration, regulatory compliance, pay equity analysis, incentive plan administration, and compensation reporting. Advise HR partners and leaders on pay strategies, build compensation models and dashboards, manage market pricing, and support competitive total rewards programs.

Supervise a team of R&D technicians responsible for subscale battery assembly and production. Oversee shift output, safety, quality, protocols, staffing, training, and performance development. Collaborate with engineering, materials, testing, and operations teams to troubleshoot challenges, scale new processes, and drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement across flexible internal R&D operations.

Supports Oracle Cloud HCM administration, configuration, workflows, integrations, data integrity, testing, and system enhancements. Identifies opportunities to automate and simplify HR processes, resolves system issues, documents requirements and workflows, monitors interfaces, and creates end-user guidance. Partners with People Systems stakeholders, HR teams, vendors, and cross-functional teams to maintain reliable HR technology and data. Requires substantial HRIS administration experience, Oracle Fast Formula and SQL skills, analytical capabilities, and strong communication.

Manage corporate treasury and enterprise risk programs: payment processing via Oracle ERP, liquidity and cash forecasting, bank administration, debt covenant tracking and reporting, interest management, and oversight of company-wide insurance programs, renewals, and claims administration.

Embed with R&D, manufacturing, field, and business teams to discover high-leverage problems and build end-to-end software and AI-driven automation. Ship full-stack web applications, governed data models, and production services (containerized, CI/CD, Kubernetes). Prototype rapidly, iterate with users, and harden systems into reliable, auditable tools that replace spreadsheets and manual workflows.

Design, develop, and improve test manufacturing processes for electro-mechanical energy storage systems. Create fixtures and workstations, optimize workflows, manage BOMs, inventory, quality control, and produce clear assembly work instructions while collaborating with R&D, test development, and execution teams.

Lead multi-site IT infrastructure and end-user services including identity, endpoints, networking, cloud tenancy, service desk, procurement, and ITGCs. Build metrics-driven, audit-ready operations, manage vendors and budgets, mature incident/change/backup processes, and coach distributed engineering and service teams supporting R&D, labs, and manufacturing.

Lead and build the company's corporate compliance program covering securities law, SEC reporting, SOX, insider trading, government contracts, environmental and safety regulations, and governance. Advise business teams, develop policies and training, manage outside counsel and auditors, support ESG and SOX efforts, and monitor regulatory developments to ensure compliance across manufacturing and commercial operations.

Lead mechanical architecture and end-to-end design for next-generation iron-air energy storage systems, spanning thermal, fluid, and structural subsystems. Drive first-principles modeling, prototype builds, test campaigns, supplier engagement, and design-for-manufacturing to scale products from concept to high-volume production while ensuring safety and cross-functional alignment.

Support development and improvement of Form Energy's battery test stands and methods. Develop test methodologies, write and review test protocols, troubleshoot cells and systems, verify test metadata reliability, and perform RCAs and Gage R&R to ensure consistent battery performance.

Lead and manage end-to-end payroll operations for a multi-state manufacturing workforce, ensuring payroll accuracy, tax compliance, ADP vendor governance, time-clock integrations, month-end payroll accounting, audits, and process automation while partnering with HR and Finance.

Lead design-for-reliability for battery cell components by developing test plans, executing accelerated life tests, performing statistical lifetime analysis, and partnering with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to improve product lifetime and safety. Mentor peers and guide DFMEAs while driving root-cause analysis and design down-selection.

Lead engineering for battery test-vehicle manufacturing lines: bring up new lines, design mechanical/electromechanical workstations, assess and improve processes, mitigate risks via DFMEA/PFMEA, mentor team members, manage vendor equipment commissioning, and support floor operations to enable repeatable medium-to-high volume production.
