The Principal Software Engineer will lead the technical strategy for high-concurrency services, oversee backend design, integrate AI, and ensure operational excellence at Cars Commerce.

Manage organic search strategy and execution for 25–35 dealer clients: conduct research and audits, create monthly strategy plans and reports, perform technical/site and Google Search Console audits, manage citations and Google Business Profile, publish content, and meet deadlines while collaborating with managers, strategists, and copywriters.

Support Field AEs and Sr. AEs by managing account components, maintaining CRM hygiene, preparing business reviews and renewal materials, identifying upsell opportunities, conducting preliminary discovery, coordinating cross-functional teams, and developing consultative selling skills toward progression to full quota-bearing AE roles.

Field-based senior seller owning and growing dealer accounts across Cars Commerce products. Conduct executive-level discovery, design multi-product solutions, manage complex sales cycles, execute territory and account plans, maintain Salesforce pipeline rigor, partner with post-sale teams, and provide market intelligence. Frequent in-territory travel required.
