Inc. Magazine just published its annual Inc. 5000 report, and 144 Boston-area companies made the list. 

The Inc. 5000 ranks the country’s fastest-growing privately held companies by percentage revenue growth over the past three years. To be considered for inclusion, companies must have booked at least $100,000 in revenue in 2019 and at least $2 million in 2022. Boston honorees on this year’s list span industries ranging from fintech to logistics and healthcare technologies.

These were the top 5 local companies on the list:

#66 — Hometap: Hometap offers its customers cash in exchange share of their home equity. The company grew 7,061% between 2019 and 2022.

#100 — FarmboxRx: FarmboxRx is a produce delivery service that partners with health plans to provide fresh foods tailored to the recipient’s needs, recipes and educational resources to support healthy lifestyles. The company has grown 4,748% in the past three years.

#150 — FreightPlus: FreightPlus is a tech-enabled logistics company that offers planning, analytics, tracking and around-the-clock support. It’s grown 3,576%.

#211 — apiphani: Apiphani is a managed cloud services provider that supports clients using a range of platforms including Amazon Web Services, Azure and Google Cloud Platform. Its revenues have grown 2,654% between 2019 and 2022.

#227 — StemWave: StemWave is the creator of a non-invasive technology that treats musculoskeletal pain using acoustic waves. The company has grown 2,460% in the past three years.
