As a result, a number of major products have stemmed from in-house hackathon projects.
“This time is also an opportunity for engineers to work with different parts of the product they might not normally see, which helps develop a more holistic view of the product, enabling us to fully understand the mission and the way our everyday work contributes to moving the business forward.”
