We’re looking for a passionate and curious User Experience Researcher to join our Product team and work from either our Chicago or Quincy office.
Overview:
The User Experience team seeks a passionate, collaborative, and outgoing UX Researcher to join our fast-paced group. Our work consists of various tablet, desktop, and mobile platforms.
The UX Researcher should have a solid understanding of the user-centered design process and be equally comfortable working independently and alongside other User Experience team members. You can communicate effectively to project teams of Business and IT individuals.
Main Responsibilities:
Responsible for implementing UX tests to gather feedback from real users for our consumer facing digital products
Discover user insight and be the 'voice of the user'
Weekly analysis to improve the user experience with the current browser and mobile applications
Basic daily QA testing of the application to make sure everything is working as expected
Lead user research for ethnography and contextual studies
Define research objectives on a per project basis
Report and analyze test findings into a clear format and deliver to larger multi-disciplinary team
Essential SkillsRequired skills:
A minimum of 4 years experience in user research and working with multidisciplinary teams
3+ years working on mobile-first products
A proven ability to lead and advocate for features based on quantitative and qualitative data
Expertise in using deep analytics to support decision making
Team player
Day to Day Schedule :
Meeting with project teams, heads down planning research, conducting research, heads down compiling reports from research
50% - desk time – planning, reporting
30% - meeting
20% - facilitating
