Life at Superpedestrian is about creating the magic that people feel when they ride the Copenhagen Wheel. As we move to transform urban mobility, we are envisioning new products to contribute to and enhance that vision. We are seeking a User Experience Designer who will research and represent the needs of our customers, and design engaging experiences with the Copenhagen Wheel. You should have a passion for design and an insatiable curiosity for how people interact with digital devices and the world around them.

What you'll do: 

• Design for users. Our product is used by a wide variety of individuals of all ages, interests and needs, so you’ll be expected to take a human-centered approach to design
• Create user research studies, sketches, wireframes, and experience flows for use across teams
• Collaborate with engineers, marketers, and leadership to create a cohesive experience across our products
• Work closely with the design and engineering teams to deliver magical experiences that delight users
• Research and stay up to date on competitive and related products

What we're looking for: 

• Passion for designing engaging user experiences for both web and mobile (and other devices!)
• A strong portfolio with examples of specific UX-focused deliverables
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and a team-focused attitude
• Academic degree in HCI, visual communication, new media, graphic design, or similar experience
• Familiarity with tools of the trade: Sketch, Omnigraffle, pencil & paper
