This role will be responsible for daily operations related to processing account payable transactions, managing vendor communications, maintain fixed asset records, and perform monthly account reconciliations. A successful candidate will work closely with the Controller and Accountant.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with everyday accounts payable transactions, vendor communications and corporate expenses
• Able to effectively communicate with other departments in regards to expenses as well as vendor invoices approvals
• Assume significant responsibility around month end closing activities, including reconciliation preparations for various accounts
• Manage projects, analyses, and reconciliations from start to completion
• Ability to identify accounting issues and clearly communicate them in a timely manner to the finance team
• Assist in financial statement audits, which will include preparing audit review packages and compiling related support
• Identify and recommend opportunities for procedural improvement and increased efficiency
• Assist with special projects and ad hoc reporting as needed

Experience and Skills Required:

• GPA of greater than 3.0
