We’re looking for a Senior Designer to join our Boston Creative team for a one year maternity cover, with the potential to turn into a permanent role. This position will report directly to the Associate Creative Director.
As a Senior Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for developing innovative concepts and executing beautiful designs across multiple platforms; products, product marketing campaigns and promotions. You will help drive the creative standards of the Design Team by ensuring that the creative brief is fully explored and delivered to the highest standards. You’ll have a real passion for design and communication, and a genuine desire to do brilliant work!
Responsibilities
- Development, design and execution across digital, print and video; and in multiple channels; including digital advertising, email communication, and social channels.
- Collaboration with internal clients (in both our Boston and our London offices) to deliver work ontime and inline with the MOO brand.
- Work with members of our team in the London office. Especially important is working cross Pond with the inhouse photography team members in London.
- Help source, onboard and art direct freelance photography talent in the Boston area.
- Promote strategic thinking and commercial awareness.
- A good awareness of design processes to question and challenge design briefs and solve design problems.
- Work closely with the studio manager to manage and prioritise the workload on assigned projects.
- Share current design trends with the team.
About You:
- You have a recognized design degree.
- 6 - 7 years of significant industry experience, including print, digital and onset experience. Video is a plus.
- You have a love for the discipline of identity and branding.
- Strong written and verbal and presentation skills.
- You have the ability to deliver against tight and complex timelines, managing multiple and competing work priorities.
- You are a proactive, self motivated, team player with the ability to lead and inspire.
- You are driven and passionate; versatile and open minded; stress resistant and confident.
- You have brilliant conceptualizing skills with a portfolio to match.
- You have meticulous crafting skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of and sensitivity to trends influencing design.
- Happy to challenge the status quo.
- Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Suite; Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, and all Microsoft Office software. Adobe After Effects skills a bonus.
