At Intrepid, we specialize in building unforgettable mobile experiences for clients. We use technology and design to solve challenging problems. We deliver polished, engaging apps that bring great ideas to life.

One of the most critical things we do is planning – each new project allows us an opportunity to serve our clients, train our employees and offer leadership and growth positions. Resource planning is the weekly process by which we consider which employees should be matched with which clients and other team members. The process solicits input from managers, project managers, sales and clients.

Planning well is hard work. We are seeking a sharp, curious person with a strong desire to learn more about how organizations are run. In this role, you’ll learn to optimize balancing client success, team happiness and profitability - a challenging position to be sure.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need to dive in at Intrepid, meet the designers and developers, and understand the business goals. You’re a planner, you have a Plan A, a Plan B and maybe even a Plan C for nearly every project. We are looking for someone who would like to earn an insider’s view of how a successful services organization is run and brings their business acumen to our table.

What You'll Do:

  • Synthesize large amounts of information to make decisions quickly to balance profitability, team happiness and client success
  • Comfortable communicating frequently with people at all levels of the organization, from project managers to the CEO
  • Act as point of contact for resource booking confirmation, conflict resolution, and development of solutions in support of business goals
  • Participate in weekly resource meeting and facilitate resourcing issues / conflict resolution, deliver updates/summaries to keep all departments informed
  • Monitor day-to-day project activities and resourcing, identifying potential instances of underutilization, risks, and opportunities, actively work with department leads to address and solve those issues
  • Maintain constant knowledge of current and upcoming projects and business development activities as they relate to resourcing
  • Dissect high-level resource assignment decisions into details and communicate these details in a manner understood by relevant audiences

What We Seek:

  • Bachelor's Degree candidate
  • Passion for planning and implementation
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong ability to execute.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Please include the phrase ‘gets stuff done’ in your cover letter or resume
  • Proactive conflict-resolution and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work autonomously
  • Ability to communicate with team members effectively and proactively
  • Comfortable communicating with and creating alignment among many groups of people, including those with whom you don’t frequently interact
  • Ability to be diplomatic or firm when necessary
