GNS is launching a product Development Office intended to bring new and exciting analytics products to the healthcare market including pharmaceutical manufacturer and managed care customers.

The primary responsibility of the Program Manager is to oversee co-development relationships and product implementation work on manage care products and programs.

Responsibilities throughout all stages of the product development process, including managing client interactions, planning and scheduling of client meetings, management the contractual commitments defined by the parties, ensuring the project’s success and the client’s satisfaction, and accurate reporting of project information to the project team, senior management, and clients.

This role requires a person who is both detail- and relationship-oriented and excels at engaging with client accounts through complex interactions. Since the product development process naturally involves nuanced client relationships, this person must excel at the balance of client and product priorities. Likewise, due to the co-developmental nature of many projects falling under this manager’s purview, feedback from the clients, prioritization of product enhancements must be accurately defined, tracked and managed.

Responsibilities: 

  • Plan, and coordinate activities of the program development process involving the client and/or internal project and product team members
  • Ensure that goals or objectives of the project, implementation or developmental work are accomplished within prescribed time frame and meet the goals of the work
  • In conjunction with an Account Manager, engage directly with the client to ensure their satisfaction throughout the product usage lifecycle and long-term commitment to use and love our tools and services.
  • Manage GNS staff planning,resource allocation, and financials within the program space.
  • Coordinate, monitor and drive schedules, deliverables, and commitments
  • Prepare project reports for management, client, or others
  • Help to prepare/proofread all project documents including reports and PowerPoint slide decks.
  • Identify risks and constraints that could negatively affect project performance and help drive resolution of such issues.
  • Utilize project tracking systems that support timely and accurate data concerning staff effort, project costs, revenues, milestones, and other key metrics of project success
  • Willing to travel to client sites or other trips as needed (10-15%)

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS and at least 7-10 years experience working with manage care organizations or in services to them.
  • 5+ years of experience in account management or client services
  • Superior organizational, interpersonal, and communications skills and demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Hands on working knowledge of AtTask management software a plus.
  • Ability to work with all levels of an organization – from technical support through executive leadership.
