POSITION: Product Manager

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Plan, initiate, and manage critical information technology (IT) projects. Work closely with the senior product managers and company management to identify gaps in core product functionality and content offerings, as well as business and product strategies to address them. Provide analytical support and insight for key new business initiatives. Deliver product definitions which translate and balance business needs, customer needs and technological capabilities into site features and enhancements. Work in cross-functional teams to help produce product specifications, establish milestones, and manage the development, implementation and marketing launch against goals. Communicate product status, key issues and launch plans to key constituents across the organization including senior management, engineering, design, sales, PR, editorial and customer support teams. Measure product performance and identification of key levers of improvement - including design and analysis of relevant reports. Monitor the competitive landscape, identifying and leading relevant market, site and consumer research needs.

REQUIREMENTS: Education: Master's degree in Business, Economics, or related field. Experience: 2 year(s) of work experience in job offered or 2 year(s) of work experience in a strategy consulting-related occupation. This position requires: 1. Data analysis using SQL programming language, Tableau visualization software, and other analysis tools; 2. Demonstrated ability to communicate results of complex analyses to non-technical audiences; 3. Strategic analyses of competitive landscape and market trends to launch new products; 4. Influencing technical, product, marketing, and sales stakeholders to drive results; 5. Demonstrated ability to execute against tight deadlines, navigating issues and blockers, in order to achieve an important outcome; and 6. Demonstrated technology experience working with engineering peers on complex projects related to web, mobile technologies.
