Overview:

Zagster delivers the best and most innovative bike sharing platform in the market, backed by fully automated logistics and cutting-edge software that ensures ideal fleet management and rider experience for hundreds of bike shares across the country. A key component of our product is the ability of our internal teams to scale and manage hundreds of locations and thousands of bikes around the country - the software tools that enable these business processes require constant refinement and innovation. 

We’ve recently raised $10 million in Series B funding and operate more than 140 bike sharing programs, with clients such as Princeton University, Fort Collins Colorado, General Motors and Equity Properties. We’re growing and looking for an experienced product manager who can help take our software tools to the next level.

You should have a strong track record of managing a suite of technical products through iterations of rapid growth, and bring strong advocacy and vision to the product team while navigating the functional areas of the company. Key Responsibilities:

• Drive product vision for core software that runs Zagster’s bike sharing operations
• Gather, analyze and evaluate objectives of Zagster functional departments to drive enhancements in our desktop systems, package software, and core databases
• Prioritize amongst competing objectives, navigating multiple internal teams and requests to deliver solutions that are optimized for Zagster’s strategic objectives
• Gain a deep understanding of internal Zagster teams and processes, identify product gaps, and generate ideas that improve the workflow and efficiency of functional teams
• Work collaboratively with Engineering team on the delivery of critical systems that run Zagster’s business
• Facilitate story mapping sessions with functional teams to capture and document business objectives
• Document user stories and acceptance criteria that drive Engineering work
• Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners

Qualifications:

• B.S. in Engineering, Management or similar, advanced degree preferred
• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in a product management role
• Solid technical background via hands-on development experience or significant technical management based on previous product roles
• Have delivered multiple end-to-end enterprise software implementations. Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies, including Agile/Scrum
• Experience with low-fidelity mockup techniques and tools. Additional hands-on UI/UX or front-end design experience a plus
• Capacity to work collaboratively with developers and external contractors on delivery of key engineering projects
• Ability to handle stressful situations and deadline pressures
• Good communication skills – both verbal and written
• Be a self-starter, tenacious, and results oriented
• Experience working at a B2B company
