People eat with their eyes before anything else. For us, that means 1.5 million food photos. We’re dispatching teams of photographers to our highest-traffic metro areas to snap photos of ezCater menu items. You’ll collaborate with a partner to plan and execute these photo shoots from start to finish.
When you’re not off-site, you’ll be at our office in Downtown Crossing, working remotely with our network of nearly 50,000 caterers to add images to their menus. Your photos will add value to our caterer accounts by enhancing their brand presence in our marketplace; plus, you’ll help to convert hungry customers into loyal ezCater users. More users = record-breaking growth.
You have:
- Digital photo-editing experience. You’re a whiz with Photoshop and Lightroom, and can lead a seminar on camera settings.
- A suitcase or two. You’ll spend up to 50% of your workdays in several major cities across the U.S.
- A self-directed approach. You’re comfortable solving problems on the fly without immediate input from higher-ups.
- An effortlessly helpful and direct manner. You’ll communicate with caterers (and restaurant owners, and marketing directors — etc.) through email, over the phone, and face-to-face.
- An affinity for analytics. We make data-informed decisions (that may change on a dime) based on where we need to be in 3/6/12 months.
- An appreciation for your subject. To you, food is more than just your next meal.
- A portfolio that you’re eager to share with us. It doesn’t need to be a coffee table book, and it doesn’t need to be food-focused.
- A college degree, and/or other photography-related certifications.
