We are looking for a part-time design intern to join our Marketing team. You’ll be developing digital creative assets that help us bring campaigns to life for both the Runkeeper brand, and external partners. In the process you’ll learn the ins and outs of what it’s like to work for a consumer startup that serves millions of runners around the globe.

Responsibilities

• Work with Runkeeper sales team and external brand partners to quickly turn around assets for ad campaigns in the Runkeeper app and external channels. This includes asset resizing, correcting, and fine-tuning.
• Work under the guidance of the Runkeeper Marketing Designer and Creative Director to assist in producing assets for the Runkeeper blog, social platforms, email, external ads, landing pages, eCommerce and more.

Requirements

• Proficiency in the Adobe suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Good understanding of typography, visual hierarchy, and layout.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work on multiple projects at once. This is a must.
• Ideally, the candidate has previous intern experience in a creative department or demonstrated freelance work.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and changing requirements.
• Love for startups and all the quick learning and chaos that goes with it.
• Ability to commit to a regular schedule of 15-20 hours per week in the Runkeeper office in downtown Boston.
