MaxMind is looking for a talented, experienced, and highly motivated Interaction Designer to help us develop and improve our public assets. Founded in 2002, MaxMind is an industry-leading provider of IP intelligence and online fraud detection tools. MaxMind is privately held and based in Waltham, Massachusetts.
MaxMind provides IP intelligence through the GeoIP brand. Over 5,000 companies use GeoIP data to locate their Internet visitors and show them relevant content and ads, perform analytics, enforce digital rights, and efficiently route Internet traffic. Businesses can obtain additional insights into their customers' connection speeds, ISPs, and more using GeoIP data.
MaxMind's industry-leading minFraud service helps businesses prevent fraudulent online transactions and reduce manual review. The minFraud service is used to screen over 80 million e-commerce transactions and account registrations a month. Over 7,000 e-commerce and other online businesses benefit from the minFraud service through our client and partner networks.

The Position
Our Interaction Designer will bring creativity and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders from both within and outside the organization, including other members of the interaction design team, software developers, marketing and product managers, to enhance our digital presence.
Job Requirements- Demonstrate strong design and information architecture skills along with the ability to solve problems combined with the ability to communicate design intentions
- Be able to conceptualize design, collaborate well with other team members and ensure overall design is implemented as intended
- Ability to create design deliverables such as wireframes, design comps, user flows, inventories, annotations, and documentation
- Expert understanding of UI design methodology and practices
- Ability to sketch, wireframe, and prototype interactions and iterate on those through internal feedback and user testing
- Background and/or experience in user experience, information architecture
- Web-savvy and abreast of the latest developments, events and standards within the web industry
- Skilled in Sketch, Photoshop and Illustrator
- Working knowledge of Omnigraffle, Axure, and/or InVision or similar online wireframing tools
- Familiarity with Bootstrap is a plus
- Degree in interaction design (BS or MS in HCI, design, or a related field) or equivalent experience
- 3+ years experience as an interaction designer
