Rue La La is looking for bright, creative, and passionate students to join our Summer Internship program. This is an exciting opportunity to gain great professional experience, apply your relevant academics and grow professionally. And you can do it at a highly-recognized eCommerce leader in the heart of Boston’s Fort Point District.
The 2017 Summer Internship program is a 10 week unpaid internship. The program is a full time summer commitment of 40 hours per week, open to rising college sophomores, juniors and seniors. You will work closely with talented Rue associates in our vibrant culture and will receive strong mentoring to accelerate your learning.

Purpose & Responsibilities: The Finance team at Rue La La includes Strategic Planning and Analysis, Accounting, and Accounts Payable, and Loss Prevention. Summer interns will have the opportunity to interact with and support both the Accounting and Strategic Planning teams. This role will expose interns to all financial areas that are essential in the daily performance of the organization, including monthly accounting processes and procedures, financial planning and analysis projects, and accounts payable operations.
Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills that will enable effective interaction with all levels of employees, management and departments within the company.
- Excellent analytical skills and comfortable in working with complex data and processes.
- Foundations to do tasks in Excel
- Looking for candidates pursuing degrees in Finance, Accounting or related fields.
