Date Seat is Boston’s newest iOS app for discovering restaurants by atmosphere & ambiance.
We are searching for an intern to help with business development of restaurants for Boston MA, Newburyport MA, and Portsmouth
NH. This job would entail working directly with the founders and will be an excellent learning opportunity for anyone interested in
getting an intense sales experience within the restaurant industry. We are looking for a driven individual who wants to learn more
about building a company and brand, while having fun doing it.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Business Development Intern will be responsible for acquiring new business/partnerships with restaurants to add to our app. This
will entail meeting/calling/emailing restaurant managers to pitch them on the services that Date Seat can provide. The Business
Development Intern will have training on sales tactics and approaches.

Participate in strategic business planning for Date Seat
Assist in the development of new sales channels and restaurant leads for the acquisition and takeover of new cities
Analyze Google Analytics and develop actionable sales recommendations to specific target markets based on analyses
Will help to differentiate from the competition by coming up with new and engaging initiatives to acquire customers and
partners.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Pursuing in a Bachelor’s degree in Business or a business-related field (Sales is a plus)
Willingness to learn Google Analytics
Must have a laptop/computer

Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel is a plus)

Work from home – with MINIMAL travel to cities around the region
