The Senior Software Developer (.NET) position is a highly motivated, experienced product and tech enthusiast, helping us to deliver globally scalable tech solutions to the events industry. You'll be collaborating with Development and Product teams to ensure we're aligned on vision, technology direction, architecture, and best practices, while putting your expertise to work in building industry-leading products and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
Delivering World-Class Software & Practices
- Be a key hands-on contributor to the design and implementation of new products and features through the entire stack.
- Help manage our cloud infrastructure/automation, database architecture, integrations, microservices, performance monitoring, and more.
- Continually look to update and improve the technology stack and ensure we're working with the latest Microsoft technologies where possible.
Team Collaboration
- Be an example of collaboration within the team - working to ensure clarity on what we're working on, alignment on the goals, teamwork to achieve the sprint commitments and support.
- Provide leadership and expertise to the team in managing our products, sprints, releases and support - ensuring we're set up for success as we launch and scale our products globally.
- Ensure we're constantly improving our software through code reviews, root cause resolutions, and team retro meetings to learn from failures and lean into our successful practices.

- Be familiar with our company vision and help ensure the products and solutions we deliver provide measurable results we can communicate to our stakeholders and the leadership team.
- Review/evaluate stories, designs, data and architecture decisions to ensure the company is building and enabling the business with the right solutions to the problems being addressed.
Development Leadership
- Provide leadership to our Agile team members regarding agile practices, our SDLC, working through QA, release and support practices with the respective team members.
- Identify areas for improvement and innovation within the squad ecosystem and lead the charge on making those changes.
- Identify, implement and monitor required tools, processes and procedures to create an effective and efficient organization.
Job Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science, IT Application Development, Engineering or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in development-related field, corporate or consulting environment.
- 6+ years of development experience in .NET Framework/Core, C#, ASP.NET Web API MVC.
- Ability to take ownership and develop large parts of an application. Design, build, and deliver complex features independently, but with a high-level of collaboration and leadership.
- Very experienced in collaborating with a small team of developers, managing sprints, and coordinating standard release cycles and support/maintenance releases.
- Experience with agile or lean methodologies, and continuous integration/delivery.
- Experience with the following technologies is expected:
- Visual Studio 2018+
- SQL Server 2017+
- Entity Framework / EF Core
- JavaScript
- Unit/Integration Testing with mocks
- Git and Git Workflow
- Atlassian, Jira and Confluence
- Knowledge of cloud technology. Practical experience with Azure, Azure SQL, PowerShell, and general automation is a plus.
Experience with the following is a plus:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, Azure Web Services, Kubernetes
- Salesforce, Oracle integrations, MS Dynamics
- Xamarin or other mobile technologies
- oAuth / OIDC / SAML
Work Environment
Work is performed primarily remotely, with occasional travel to the corporate headquarters in MA, and to event sites around the country or even internationally. Working times may, although rarely, include irregular hours and on-call status including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
