About the role:
As a Senior .NET Engineer, you will be a key contributor to the product development team, leading the creation and enhancement of innovative products. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, creative thinking, and project management skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in product development, from concept to market launch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Idea Generation and Conceptualization:
- Lead brainstorming sessions to generate creative and viable product ideas.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive products.
- Drive the development of product concepts aligned with the company's vision and market demand.
- Product Design and Prototyping:
- Develop detailed product specifications and design documents.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to create prototypes and proofs of concept.
- Iterate on designs based on testing results and stakeholder feedback.
- Project Leadership:
- Lead the product development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, marketing, and manufacturing.
- Identify and mitigate risks to ensure successful project delivery.
- Technical Expertise:
- Work closely with engineers to assess technical feasibility and ensure compatibility with existing systems.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements.
- Provide guidance on overcoming technical challenges during the development process.
- Quality Assurance:
- Develop and implement testing procedures to ensure product quality and reliability.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address any issues identified during testing.
- Implement continuous improvement measures based on testing outcomes.
- Market Launch:
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies.
- Support the creation of marketing materials, including product documentation, packaging, and promotional content.
- Monitor product performance in the market and gather feedback for future enhancements.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in product design, engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- 3+ years' experience in product development, with a focus on leading projects from concept to launch.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in product design tools and technologies.
Technical Skills:
- 3+ years' experience developing with C#
- .NET 8 using microservices architecture
- DevOps engineering and Azure deployment using containers
- React and/or Next.js using Material UI
- HTML/CSS using Bootstrap or Tailwind
- Git with BitBucket
- Agile/Scrum using Jira
- Azure SQL or SQL Server T-SQL
- UX design principles
