Our client is a leading healthTech firm headquartered in Boston and backed by several top investors in Silicon Valley (and also several from within HC). The team is tackling a national health epidemic through a technology platform with deeply integrated clinician access. Series A moving now to B, revenue in 8 figures, revenue catalysts will dramatically alter growth in 2024.

Role Description

This is a full-time, hybrid role for a Vice President of Product located in/around Boston, with flexibility for some remote work. Could you live in NYC and go back and forth? Probably. Let's talk.

As the Vice President of Product, you will be responsible for leading the product team, overseeing product strategy, and establishing a set of robust, scalable, and repeatable processes for advancing the state of product during a period of significant acceleration (e.g. enhancing product org with new functions and hires, deepening the sophistication and deliverability of key initiatives alongside engineering). Reporting to the founder/CEO, you will collaborate closely with both internal and external constituencies, including healthcare domain experts.

Qualifications

  • 10-15+ years of experience in product management, with a *proven* track record of developing and launching successful products during both early stages of funding (Seed/A) as well as at scale (from B/C to post-IPO).
  • Recent or past experience in an early-stage startup pre-seed through A, coupled with experience at later stages is an ideal mix (Series B through public); experience as a founder is an enormous plus (independent of outcomes).
  • Demonstrated experience managing and growing a product team of circa 5-10+ replete with PM's, design, UXR, and other critical functions.
  • Comprehension, experience, and empathy for both B2B and D2C constituencies is important. This weaves together a set of applications and resources that extend to consumer-facing web/mobile applications.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare domain is paramount. This might come through exposure to D2C, enterprise solutions, or a mix of experiences that offer you native fluency in various areas of this domain.
  • All of the other fluff has been removed here ("writing skills, leadership, etc") in favor of these priorities.

Note: apologies if responses are delayed. We will try to contact every single qualified and interested party, please be patient.
