JOB SUMMARY: PrismHR creates exceptional software and services. We empower Professional Employer Organizations (PEOs), Administrative Service Organizations (ASOs), and staffing agencies to deliver world-class HR, Recruiting, Benefits and Payroll services to small and medium-sized businesses. 

As part of our Professional Services team, you will be responsible for implementing our software platform for new customers, and for consulting with existing customers on PrismHR software and industry best practices. To do so, you will draw from your deep knowledge of accounting, of PEO/ASO/Staffing industries, and of benefits & payroll software and operations. 

SPECIFIC DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Our Product Consultants play a critical role in onboarding our customers, training them, and ultimately driving their success on our platform. To that end, you will handle the following: 

● Understand our customers’ business requirements, and guide them on best practices guidance to Customers on how to best implement PrismHR solutions, in particular for GL configurations, finance and Accounting 

● Capture requirements and use cases in functional design documents, ensuring customers and PrismHR teams are aligned on our solutions and have detailed reference materials. 

● Independently drive multiple projects to deliver excellent service and outcomes that meet and/or exceed customer expectations. To do so, you will need to:

○ Develop a thorough understanding of project scope, deliverables, budget and schedule; 

○ Communicate proactively with customers, project teams, and management; and 

○ Work with a cross functional team to develop and implement robust solutions in an Agile environment 

● Present (remotely and in person) to customers and at industry events 

● Collaborate with and make recommendations to the PrismHR Product Management team 

● Provide learning content and conduct training for customers and team members 

SKILLS and EXPERIENCE: 

● 3+ years of accounting experience and/or an accounting degree 

● Ability to work independently and understand and solve complex problems 

● Excellent verbal and written communication, and strong presentation skills 

● Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment 

● Experience defining and documenting workflows and processes 

● Strong technical inclination, and a desire to learn continuously Preferred: 

● Payroll experience 

● PEO/HRO experience 

● Experience in a consulting or other client service role 

● Bonus points for experience with PrismHR products and/or accounting software such as Great Plains, Peachtree, Quickbooks, etc.
