Description
At Iterative Health, we are pioneering the application of powerful, proprietary artificial intelligence tools to the practice of gastroenterology and drug development. We've set out to drastically improve clinical decision making while meaningfully improving patient lives through better diagnosis, disease management, and treatment, leading to better health outcomes.
Reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer, the VP of Product Management will be a member of the senior management team and will own the product vision, roadmap, and product leadership for the company. As the product leader, you will drive the major product decisions for the product team and lead organizational change across people, process, and product. Both strategically and operationally oriented, the VP of Product Management will have ownership over the day-to-day responsibilities for product management team. You will recruit, hire, and manage the product team through hyper growth and scale, and act as a driver of change, thought leadership and growth. Additionally, you will set a strategy and lead to execute and operationalize the vision, while instilling industry best practices into the organization.
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a world-class product management team, providing strategy, execution, coaching, mentoring, and decision-making leadership throughout the organization, with a hyper-growth mindset
  • Use data to drive the product strategy in line with corporate strategy, enhancing the process with transparency around prioritization decisions
  • Prioritize execution and fast decision-making to identify and execute high impact wins quickly
  • Lead the organization through a strategic change and adoption of best-in-class product function that is data-driven with user-centric product research and design, emphasizing fast iteration and refinement in the development of new and improved products, features, and workflows
  • Implement speed and shorten the time to new feature and product releases in collaboration with Engineering, ensuring readiness for all product releases and pushing products to market faster
  • Partner closely with internal teams to connect the technical vision with the outbound GTM strategy, forming strong partnerships with cross-functional teams to collectively take ownership of delivering on business goals
  • Communicate key ideas and conclusions to drive consensus, raising uncomfortable issues to leadership in a thoughtful, respectful, articulate, and firm way


Requirements
Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • You have proven experience in healthcare B2B Product Management and Product leadership roles, building and leading Product teams to deliver new products and features in close collaboration with Engineering and other key stakeholders
  • You have knowledge and experience in the healthcare industry, especially in drug clinical development and the role of data, technology, and software in advancing medical research
  • You are a trusted leader who has helped to build successful VC-backed startups or other hyper-scaling companies
  • You are an outstanding communicator and can build a sphere of influence at all levels
  • You are agile when it comes to networking and investing the time to get to know all-comers
  • You dive head first into accepting diverse and challenging assignments with rigor, intellectual curiosity and tenacity, and you are hardworking, fearless, forward-thinking, credible, conscientious and creative
  • You bring the self-confidence and passion required to get things done in difficult times and find creative solutions to problems against all odds.
  • You identify operational gaps, plug the holes, and just make things work, with an eye for how to improve processes for future efficiency
  • You are a strong public speaker with the ability to serve as the company's evangelist

What we're looking for in you:
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • 12+ years of hands-on product management experience in a hyper-growth environment
  • Inspirational product leader, both in thought and in deed, exuding confidence, authority, and integrity.
  • Expert in fundamentals of product management; determine what should and should not go into the product based on repeatable robust processes defining a clear input/enhancement process, with transparency on prioritization decisions
  • Has led strategy for product, design, documentation, and outbound product management in line with overall business strategies with deliverables to measurable business outcomes
  • Proven success partnering across an organization for cross-functional business, technical, GTM, and sales-related activities around the company's product lines, driving solution pricing and packaging
  • Proven ability to create, manage, maintain, and communicate external and internal product roadmaps; advocating for what the market needs today and in the future
  • Has driven participation from customers and stakeholders in the product roadmap process; conducting competitive analysis and analyzing the value chain.
  • Outstanding leadership, management, and communication skills.
  • History of recruiting, mentoring, and developing a best-in-class, high functioning product team


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in science or healthcare-related disciplines
  • Executive experience within AI technology Product management, preferably in health tech or computer vision AI
  • Knowledge of gastroenterology, clinical research, clinical trials, and physician workflows
  • Proven ability to lead an organization through a significant change, change agent
