Senior Product Manager

Cambridge, MA OR Remote (EST Working Hours)

As part of the DICE product team, you will partner with design, analytics & engineering to evolve our Publisher Platform. The Publisher Platform will be the central hub that Publishers use to get the data & insights they need to manage & grow their businesses. You will be the driving force of product execution -- from defining product roadmap, feature story prioritization, development and launch, to measuring metrics and monitoring day to day progress of these programs. You will provide direct visibility to Product & DICE leadership on all aspects of your programs on a regular cadence. And you will partner with other functions such as Biz Dev, Operations, Legal and Finance on translating customer needs into world class product specs that solve real customer problems.

What We Look For:

You make decisions on a daily basis, and embrace the discomfort that comes from making decisions in ambiguous situations. To do this, you rely on strong analytical capabilities, combined with structured thinking and problem-solving skills. You have top notch oral and written communication skills which enable you to manage stakeholder expectations and bring everyone along with your recommendations. Together with your understanding of the strategic big-picture, being detail-oriented and highly organized helps you move forward simultaneously on multiple fronts. You have proven leadership skills in a very fast-paced and highly demanding environment. You have a strong software development background with expert-level fluency in the software development cycle, and in managing and delivering large cross-functional programs. Fluency in SQL and Excel for self-service data analysis purposes is a must. You will be calm and composed in times of crisis, and you will distill tension by using customer feedback, data and causal analysis.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Create a customer-focused strategy & vision for your product area, supported by analysis and customer feedback
  • Own & execute quarterly product roadmaps that are ambitious & achievable, and build toward the overall team strategy & vision
  • Develop detailed, crisp business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications and architecture
  • Work closely with other teams & functions to coordinate dependencies and remove obstacles for your team along the way
  • Carry the voice of customer in every conversation and decision, ensuring we build world class products that our customers love and value

What You'll Need:

  • 6+ years of comparable internet product management experience, with fluency in both the B2B and consumer product spaces
  • BS/BA or equivalent experience (MBAs are great but not a requirement)
  • Technically savvy and have a good understanding of APIs, web front end, and data
  • Experience communicating and presenting to different levels in the organization including executive teams
  • Experience driving outcomes with strategic partners and enterprise-level customers
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver software projects on tight deadlines
  • Uses a combination of metrics, research and intuition to evaluate opportunities, to establish roadmaps and build solutions
  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically
  • Fluency in SQL for self-service data analysis purposes
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels of an organization
