Sr. Product manager is responsible for leading wide range of marketing and business development activities for the new surgical robotic system. Responsibilities will include defining the go to market strategy, including identifying and engaging partners, market segmentation and pricing, refining and enhancing advisory board and KOL strategy, marketing material development etc. This role will be heavily focused on the upstream product marketing aspects and will interact closely with R&D, operations, regulatory, quality and sales.

Responsibilities

• Ability to analyze consumer and market insights gathered through primary/secondary research and translating these into effective global product strategies.
• Represent voice of the customer on cross functional teams to prioritize/validate customer needs and guide trade-offs and product feature / design decisions
• Responsible for value prop development, monetization strategy and developing long term road map for the robotic platform.
• Lead market assessment and business case development.
• Own market and financial analytics, including market models, financial proforma, project valuation
• Supports industry educational meetings and events, on-site customer meetings and labs, and strategic meetings.

About You

• Bachelor’s degree required; engineering discipline preferred
• Requires a University Degree and minimum of 10 years of marketing experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of marketing experience
• MBA strongly preferred
• Product marketing experience with large medical capital devices.
• 5 Years’ experience in upstream marketing, strategy, and product management in medical device industry.
• Global commercialization/product launch experience
• Self-starter, results driven, competent managing multiple priorities simultaneously
