We’re looking for a talented, dynamic, data-driven product manager to re-imagine, build and maintain critical elements of our monetization platform. What you’ll do:

  • You’ll be responsible for building key elements of TripAdvisor’s monetization platform, including new products, buying channels, and data strategies
  • You will drive new product strategy by uncovering advertiser business needs, defining market opportunity, and conducting user analysis and research
  • Translate your product strategy into a product road map focused on building integrated advertising experiences across various TripAdvisor user experiences - search, CRM, maps, forums and more
  • Write detailed product specifications, establish milestones, prioritize features and work cross-functionally with design and engineering to bring products to market
  • Partnering closely with your Agile Technical team, you’ll be releasing products regularly with constant iteration and reliance on quantitative and qualitative metrics to help define further optimizations and enhancements
  • You’ll foster a fast paced & Agile environment and excel at managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Be an expert collaborator and project manager by working with stakeholders across CRM, marketing, analytics, engineering, sales, operations, external clients, and many others to build best-in-class ad products for members
  • Lead Ad Product team’s stand ups, manage project management tools, and own internal communications on behalf of the team
  • Perform competitive research and become an industry expert in travel, ad tech, digital advertising and consumer products
  • Use data to drive decisions and insights on a daily basis


What we seek:

  • BS/BA required; MBA/MS preferred
  • 5+ years of internet product experience preferred 
  • Fluency with data and an analytical mindset. Familiarity with SQL, Tableau and other tools. Willingness to learn and refine skills to meet project demands
  • Outside-the-box thinking, an intense curiosity about the “why,” and the wherewithal to challenge conventional wisdom
  • Strategic thinker who can ask the right questions to the right constituencies, diagnose accurate customer problems, and uncover solutions through qualitative and quantitative research 
  • Ability to maintain focus on high level objectives and communicate how your strategy, product, or feature fits into those objectives
  • Software development, business analytics, marketing, UX/design or product management experience preferably with a media related product. 
  • Attention to detail and a passion for quality
  • People person who can work well with different personalities; a team player
  • Self-starter who doesn’t wait for direction from others
  • Able to handle a “speed wins”, fast-paced, ever-changing product development cycle
  • Fluency with the advertising business and advertising technology, including marketing CRM platforms a big plus
  • Technical knowledge and data analytics experience a plus

  • Must be able to perform customary physical duties and meet appropriate social expectations of a professional environment
