The Role:

Our software platform, lovingly called Chirp, allows Iora Health doctors’ offices to provide primary care designed specifically for the needs of people 65 and older on Medicare. It’s a medical record, a process management system, and so much more. Is a patient having trouble with transportation? We’ll help them find a ride. Feeling lonely? Invite them to a group class to improve their health and meet new friends. This is the software we want to build. We’re already leading the industry in relationship-based care in a progressive environment featured by The Clayton Christensen Institute, The New York Times, and many others.

Come help us continue to enhance Chirp and improve the lives of our patients and our care teams. As Product Manager you will be a product champion for Chirp - evaluating opportunities, developing meaningful product enhancements, and analyzing impact to care team members and patients. You will work with a cross-functional group of engineers, designers, and stakeholders to translate business objectives and user research into requirements, define scope and metrics for success, and guide the work from ideation through design, implementation and release.

Responsibilities include:

  • Evaluate opportunities and prioritize work to create engaging and impactful software for our clinical teams and patients
  • Work closely with engineering, design, and business stakeholders to generate and test hypotheses, scope work to be done, and identify milestones
  • Lead the discovery process and act as the voice of the customer to understand user needs and solicit feedback on current initiatives
  • Create, track, and scope user stories, develop acceptance criteria, and manage implementation in an agile software development framework
  • Contribute to the definition and evolution of the product roadmap
  • Collaborate with service design and training teams to ensure product is aligned with cross-functional goals, recognizing that software is often just one aspect of a great solution
  • Work with product, design, and engineering teams to continuously improve the Chirp product development process

Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 2-5 years experience as a product manager or product owner in an agile development environment
  • Experience working directly with non-technical end users preferred
  • Experience collaborating with people from various domain backgrounds
  • The ability to work in concert with other product managers to deliver excellent software
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills including exceptional writing skills
  • Terrific organizational, problem-solving and time management skills
  • Intellectual independence and willingness to learn new skills
  • Some experience working in healthcare is preferred
  • A strong desire to see your work improve the quality of people’s lives

Iora Health practices offer smaller panel sizes, closer relationships between patients and care teams, and the opportunity to lead systemic change in health care delivery while working with a true team.
