As the Product Manager, Innovation, you will be responsible for executing a portfolio of projects within our Innovation Product Strategy across the company and communicating the product vision and for bringing products and product features from concept to end of life.

The Intralinks Innovation team is the spear point in the company; bringing new and exciting ideas to completion. You’ll be part of a team of experts in startups, integration, design and ideation that champions fast and intelligent implementations of impactful ideas across the organization.

Overview:

In this role, you are a key decision maker on priorities, activities and design decisions, and will work to ensure that all stakeholders are aligned at each stage of the development lifecycle. You will help to manage the Innovation Portfolio to KPIs of time, budget and resources, and must understand both the engineering and business side of the product release and will ultimately responsible be for representing the end user’s needs. 

Additionally, you will:

• Collaborate with leadership across design, product management and engineering to establish Ideation sessions for our products
• Drive innovation projects through our process
• Work jointly with Product Marketing to distill inbound market insights and opportunities, and outbound to help craft messages that capture successful business outcomes derived by use of the product
• Assess ROI for product development initiatives to optimize business value delivery through product backlog prioritization
• Assist the sales organization strategically, ensuring they can communicate the value delivered and tactically, responding to needs of account teams when required
• Contribute to build/buy/partner discussions and work jointly with product marketing to make recommendations supported by a business case
• Establish key product differentiators and ensure that the field understands them and how to develop trap questions that pinpoint the corresponding weaknesses of competitive products
• Develop professional-level knowledge of competitive and complementary products and bring new ideas to the team

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• 3 years or more of product management experience
• Have some level of user experience design AND/OR business and market analysis experience AND/OR technical (software development) experience
• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
• Ability to work on a small team and lead area of focus

It would be great if you also:

• Have a portfolio of previous projects
• Have attended training, be familiar with, or practiced agile scrum in software development
• Have experience in the Mergers & Acquisitions, Alternative Investments or Financial Services industry
• Experience building applications for Android and iOS
