The Product Manager (Data) will set the direction of Perceptive Automata’s data efforts. This will entail working at the intersection of data science, business, engineering, user experience and product. You will collect internal and external feedback, perform data analysis using statistics, data science as well as other machine learning techniques, and seek clarity on business goals to create actionable product and data roadmaps. You’ll collaborate seamlessly across domains and teams, build consensus, and prioritize ruthlessly to drive key results. You will have a deep passion for the work you do and know that you are helping to steer us towards our mission of bridging the gap between humans and machine intelligence to solving real-world problems using cutting-edge neuroscience and computer science.

Responsibilities

• Define our company’s data strategy (how data will be generated, collected, and consumed) by using data science techniques as well as internal and external customer feedback
• Owning the product roadmap for a set of key metrics in accordance with the company’s goals for data, infrastructure, machine learning and data science initiatives
• Partnering with our engineering teams to build outstanding production-level systems to collect, analyze and derive insights from data and drive key product decisions
• Work closely with research and engineering teams to scale advanced machine learning and data science systems
• Becoming a trusted advocate and product resource for data initiatives
• Analyzing and reporting on key product initiatives to the executive team
• Present your insights to all levels of the company clearly and concisely
• Be hands-on and take initiative

Requirements

• 4+ years experience as a PM working on data-heavy products
• Experience and enthusiasm for working with engineers and researchers to design, test, analyze, and iterate on data collection, storage, analysis and machine learning systems
• Proven ability to lead and coordinate teams on key initiatives and work cross-functionally in a highly collaborative environment
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to prioritize and build consensus within multidisciplinary teams
• Deep product sense & self-starter with an eye for detail
• Familiarity with machine learning, data science and statistics techniques

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep technical knowledge, especially in applying data science techniques to drive key decisions
• Experience with Python, SQL and other tools of the trade
• Experience working in a rapid growth environment that requires flexibility and continuous innovation
