Product Manager, Consumer

The consumer line of business is expanding and looking for a highly motivated consumer segment leader. You will report directly to the general manager and be responsible for the end-to-end management of one of the consumer team’s primary use cases and product lines. This will be inclusive of go-to-market, pricing, merchandising, analytics, manufacturing, customer service, design and finance. You will drive and shape strategies, work cross-functionally to deliver key initiatives and work closely with our customers to ensure we are always going above and beyond their expectations.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about the customer, have an entrepreneurial drive, is data driven and an agile advocate, constantly challenging themselves and their counterparts to rapidly test and learn throughout the launch process.
Key responsibilities:
- Strategy- You will help define our strategy leveraging consumer insights, competitive intelligence and analytics to drive marketing, assortment and experience improvements
- P&L Management- You will own the P&L for one of the major consumer use cases (wedding, holiday, celebrations) and product lines (holiday cards, invitations, announcements, photo gifts) for North America. You will manage the levers to drive profit and cash flow including but not limited to site experience, manufacturing, go-to-market, and pricing with the goal of bringing our positioning to life
- Operating Plan- You will create data driven plans to deliver value for the customer and the business. You will lead priority initiatives, working cross-functionally from ideation through delivery, creating a data driven plan
- Positioning- You will evolve our use case positioning with a focus on changing the perceptions of our customers so that we are their trusted memory creation partner
- Product Management- You will define and implement the right assortment that both meets the long-term strategy and fulfills the needs of our target customer key use cases

- Drive profit – size, prioritize, and help execute against your most important growth drivers across areas like acquiring new customers, driving repeat orders, and expanding share of wallet

- Create productive partnerships – You will need to demonstrate you can influence across the organization and develop trust with a diverse set of stakeholders

What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree required; preferred majors: Business, Marketing, Economics
- 6-8 years of product marketing/management, marketing strategy and/or site experience
- Management of a P&L and/or high level of visibility into P&L management
- Ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional stakeholders to achieve a common objective
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with proven examples of times you have used data to solve a problem and influence future investments
- eCommerce experience, ideally in a position where you have focused heavily on the customer to meet their needs
- Experience in establishing and implementing standards and processes with a strong focus on operational excellence
- Proficient in Excel, pivot tables
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
