Toast customers are busy running their restaurants. They don’t have a lot of time to keep up to date on innovation, and rely on their partners and vendors to be the expert they need, right when they need them. The Customer Growth Platform team helps our customers at every step of the way. Starting with Onboarding & setup, providing the tools and coaching to get their products and systems up and running. From there, we help them understand what they’ve got, how to use it, and what else Toast can do to support them. As the Product Analyst you will support the team with detailed operational and data analysis and serve as a principal contact for data integration and system development for awareness, activation, adoption, reactive, proactive, and upsell campaigns. This cross-functional role works in close partnership with R&D, Marketing and Operations teams. You will design, develop, document, and launch the automated data-powered triggers between internal systems. This will also happen through the use of communications tools to customers and partners to support core workflows that improve customer outcomes at scale. Success comes from a systematic approach to understanding business requirements and will contribute to the development and testing of data-driven products and services. About this roll*:
- Gathers and interprets business requirements from stakeholders in R&D, Marketing, Sales, Ops and Finance teams
- Applies strong technical practices to perform data analysis and extraction of the data required to implement new use cases
- Build connections between various Toast data sources and internal tools to improve communication with customers by increasing transparency and solving and anticipating customer pain points
- Oversees the creation of documentation for the team and business users of our Data Triggers program
- Coordinates between Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Integrations and Operations team to obtain appropriate information
- Serve as an essential influencer for delivering awareness, activation, adoption, customer support reduction, and upsell campaigns
- Oversee OKRs around Campaign performance improvement, time to deliver campaigns, adoption of the Data Triggers tools
Do you have the right ingredients*?
- Experience working with data to influence customer engagement leading to a ‘Next Best Action’
- Experience working with Marketing teams to deliver product experiences to support campaigns and data analysis of campaign performance
- Experience with data platforms, data extraction, and data visualization and
- Familiarity with tools like Looker, Heap, Pendo, and Google Analytics
- Prior product data experience working within and across a Portfolio product organization, preferably in the B2B space
- A proven track record of solving amorphous problems, listening to and organizing large amounts of information into a coherent plan forward, and handling difficult prioritizations
- Bachelor’s Degree with 3-5 years’ experience in analytical roles
