Building Engines is one of Boston’s excellent SaaS companies, building solutions for an underserved, but massive industry: Commercial Real Estate (CRE). After investing and building an exciting roadmap for organic growth, we are focusing on partners and acquisitions to augment our plan for an even larger outcome.

Building Engines will not build product in certain areas, yet still needs to deliver a seamless, comprehensive solution to our customers. In these areas, our approach is to build deep partnerships that yield both revenue and integrated product outcomes. We are looking for our very first Partner Manager, focused on using our customer base as a channel for new products from these partnerships.

Working across departments, the Partner Manager will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating and driving the success of new partnerships, in addition to leveraging our existing partners. Marketing, sales, product strategy and some financial acumen will enable a great candidate to turn this new investment into a multi-million dollar recurring revenue stream and a broad, satisfying product solution for our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, engage and sign excellent partners aligned with our strategy
  •  Negotiate mutually beneficial revenue splits based on data-backed assumptions
  • Forecast partner revenue using historical data
  • Work with sales, marketing and product to establish and drive partner launches
  •  Ensure sales meets or exceeds partner revenue targets
  •  Build partnership integration roadmaps in conjunction with product management
  •  Manage partner onboarding (training, support, sales enablement)
  •  10-20% travel expected

Required:

  •  5-10 years working with SaaS B2B products (in sales, GTM or product management)
  • Direct experience working with partners (channel development, training or related)
  • Effective and comfortable presenting to the executive level
  •  Ability to quickly understand and articulate strategy
  • Strong understanding of technical integrations
  •  Familiarity with SaaS metrics
  • Capable of scale, knowing when to build a program vs one-off
  • BA/BS in relevant area, MBA desirable
  •  Knowledge of or experience in CRE desirable

Benefits:

  • Make a major impact on an enormous industry
  • Excellent health and dental benefits
  •  Unlimited vacation
  • Weekly company-paid lunches (Tasty Tuesdays and Bagel Fridays)
