AdmitHub is seeking a talented Director of Product Management to help us evolve our technology and processes so that we can continue to bring digital innovation into the higher education space and improve student outcomes on campuses. You will help drive vision and strategy, define the roadmap, and work closely with engineering, design, and business stakeholders to deliver a product that meets our user and business objectives.

About AdmitHub

We bring the power of artificial intelligence and machine learning to higher education through a chatbot-driven text-messaging platform that guides students to and through college. Our bots help students find the answers they need, wherever they are, whenever they need it--and offer colleges a way to give one-on-one support to vast numbers of students.

We are both mission and margin driven. We’re committed to helping colleges operate more effectively and helping their students succeed on the path to and through college. We also believe in rigorous independent research of our products, especially with respect to at-risk students. At AdmitHub, you will be working in a cutting edge space on new and exciting problems, driving large scale social impact, help solve unique scalability challenges and be part of an exciting stage of a high-growth company.

What You’ll Do

  • Work with key business stakeholders, reporting into the SVP of Product and Analytics, to help define the vision, strategy, roadmap planning and execution for our products
  • Lead a team of product managers in translating the strategy and roadmap into execution plans, while making the right trade-off decisions and communicating delivery timelines to the rest of the organization and hold accountability for it.
  • Enthusiastic leader capable of leading and coaching the career development of a team of talented product managers.
  • Be hands-on and own one or more workstreams working with engineering leads on sprint planning, daily standup meetings, retrospectives, resource allocation, and project management against roadmap execution.
  • Build deep relationships with  key stakeholders across multiple functions of the organization to help drive market success for the product and solutions.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering to build a data-driven product organization. This includes defining key product metrics, measuring those metrics on a daily/weekly/monthly  basis and identifying product initiatives and experimentation to drive growth in key metrics.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering to develop our data analytics strategy, frameworks and tools that can support data driven initiatives across the company.

What You Have

  • A strong sense of purpose and alignment with our mission and vision.
  • 10+ years of product management experience with 3+ years at a Director level (or equivalent) in SaaS companies. Experience with leading a team of product managers.
  • Proven track record of driving product strategy and building product roadmaps that deliver desired outcomes for customers and the organization.
  • Demonstrated experience with making hard decisions on prioritization and trade-offs.
  • Solid understanding of frameworks like Jobs-To-Be-Done to help drive a deep understanding of key customer problems that we can solve via our products and technology
  • Highly proficient with data and analytics and can demonstrate previous experience in driving product growth using data driven approaches.
  • Ability to think and act strategically as well as the ability to roll-up your sleeves and be hands-on in the execution of product initiatives.
  • A strong bias for action, a sense of urgency in getting things done and the ability to  translate uncertainty and ambiguity into clear, crisp actionable plans.
  • Demonstrated ability in building excellent relationships with stakeholders across multiple functions including sales, marketing, engineering and customer success.
  • A passion for mentoring members of your team, and a genuine interest in their success.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
