Associate VP, Product Enablement
Description
The Associate VP, Product Enablement is accountable for the end-to-end agile product launch process, product marketing, business development for product pilot and concept creation, and our channel development support of key product partnerships.
Responsibilities
The Associate VP, Product Enablement has direct influence with senior leaders and market leaders to understand competitive market dynamics, synthesize employer, agent, and member trends, and ensure that the product experience is contiguous across all Humana products. Due to the strategic nature of the role, the leader will operate at the intersection of product, marketing, network, and sales, ensuring our product content strategy is aligned with the enterprise and segment brand and value proposition, activating the right test products in the right focus markets, and scouting the right set of external and enterprise partners to fill critical capability gaps.
This leader will also play a key role in leading the dedicated channel development team to support our external product partnerships and supporting enterprise relationships across our Digital Health and Analytics, Wellness, Clinical, and Home as we integrate new capabilities and develop new product concepts. This leader will also lead the charge in implementing a revised go-to-market launch process leveraging an agile operating model.
The Associate VP, Product Enablement will need to understand employer trends and needs, understand competition and customer gaps, along with ability to anticipate new inflection points. Business acumen of key business outcomes and drivers that impact P&L across the product portfolio is critical. Humana Values will be central to the role as it will require collaboration across product teams and the enterprise to configure owned and partnered capabilities for competitive, differentiated, profitable products tied to our Employer Group strategy.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 8 or more years of management experience
- 5 or more years of health plan experience
- 5 or more years of product marketing
- 3 or more years of agile development or lean methodology experience
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree
- Commercial Health plan experience
