The role of Senior Regulatory and Compliance Manager, Seed, Grain and Organic Registrations, is responsible for managing, coordination and completion of regulatory activities required for compliance with commercial seed regulations, commercial grain dealer regulations and for organic agricultural products registrations in North America.

Key Outcomes

  • Execute and manage compliance and registrations of Indigo seed in North America. Develop rationales and dossiers when needed to support these registrations.
  • Ensure and manage the regulatory compliance required for packaging, shipping and logistics of commercial Indigo seed to enable uninterrupted movement of commercial untreated and treated seed within United States and import/export within North America.
  • Execute and manage compliance with commercial grain dealer regulations in North America.
  • Develop rationales, documentations and submissions to gain and maintain the above registrations / licenses.
  • Execute and manage Organic registrations and certifications (OMRI/other) for Indigo seed applied products.
  • Develop and implement internal processes, SOPs and document controls for all the above.
  • Manage and prioritize numerous work streams simultaneously through effective communications with Head of Regulatory, Quality Assurance, Operations, Supply Chain, Product Managers, Legal, Finance and with government agencies and other stakeholders relevant to seed, grain and seed applied biological products.
  • Remain educated and informed on regulatory issues related to seed, grain, and organic industries.
  • Participation in industries organizations such as ASTA, Organic Trade Association, BPIA.

Qualifications

  • MS degree, preferably with emphasis on agronomy or environmental sciences
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands on working experience in a commercial company on commercial agricultural seed and grain regulatory affairs in US
  • Strong knowledge of current state and federal regulations of seed and grain
  • Strong expertise and experience with commercial seed and grain regulations and licenses in US
  • Expertise on biological and biorational products registrations for agricultural seed treatment use

On the edge of Charlestown, we are within walking distance to restaurants and bars. The Sullivan Square T and bus stop is also right next door! We are currently working remote/hybrid with the exception of our fantastic Biotrinsic team who work from the office and lab space here.
