We are looking for a dynamic Contracts Manager to join our global legal team, where you will be a key partner to the Experiences sales, operations and finance teams. 

TripAdvisor Experiences offers a simple platform that allows tour, activity, and attraction suppliers the opportunity to distribute their products to nearly half a billion online consumers on TripAdvisor, Viator, and our extensive network of partner sites.

As Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for drafting, negotiating and advising on commercial agreements globally, primarily in support of building Experiences supply. You will work directly with our suppliers from the outset of the contract negotiation to execution. The scope of your work will encompass operational, financial and legal terms and you will communicate regularly with your colleagues in sales, operations and finance around the globe. You will develop a deep understanding of our business in order to easily explain contractual terms to suppliers and become nimble in negotiating these terms. You will work with colleagues to operationalize non-standard processes and will ensure superb organization and tracking of contracts. You will work on various legal issues and business strategies related to commercial agreements and you will also assist with the continuous development of the commercial team’s processes. You will resolve routine legal questions under the direction of an attorney, update and maintain contract templates and provide guidance to business partners. In this role, you will handle a high-volume of projects, meet short deadlines, and enjoy working in a dynamic environment.

Ideal candidates will be commercially minded and have excellent business judgment and strategic thinking, polished internal and external communication skills and strong attention to detail. You must be proactive, motivated, organized, responsible, and able to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented, and entrepreneurial environment.

Requirements/Preferences

5+ years of transactional experience drafting, negotiating, and advising on commercial agreements as a contract manager or equivalent

Strong communication and analytical skills with the ability to assess and articulate issues clearly and concisely

Creative problem-solver who can take a leadership role in transactions and resolve complex issues in creative, efficient, and practical ways

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Bachelor’s degree with excellent academic credentials

JD is a plus
