The CTP internship program educates participants in all aspects of our industry. Through observation and practical experience, interns will act as integral members of the project planning process from the concepting stage to creation and execution.

Rising Juniors and Seniors may apply. This is a part-time internship. Our interns receive an hourly wage and possible academic credit, and must be available minimum of 20 hours and maximum of 30 hours per week. The Winter / Spring 2020 internship runs from January 6 - May 15th

Social Media

We seek someone who is a social media junkie. You will be working alongside the social media manager to understand how to build and engage with audiences on the large social networks (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram) as well as niche social spaces (Tumblr, Reddit, Pinterest). Comprehensive knowledge of social media tools and strong written communication skills are required.

Media

We are looking for an intern to work with our very busy media team. We develop and execute media plans to ensure campaigns reach the right target audience at the right time in the most effective and efficient way and the intern gain valuable experience working alongside the media team in preparing media budgets, schedules of insertions, invoices, and supporting materials.

Must be organized and an expert at analyzing data. Excel skills a must. Degree in accounting or finance would be ideal

Public Relations

Our PR interns have an opportunity to work alongside seasoned professionals while getting exposed to the industry and the core elements of our work. You'll assist with media lists, media events, press releases, research, and brainstorm/strategy sessions. Comprehensive knowledge of social media tools, and strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.

Art Direction/Print Studio Internship

CTP is looking for a summer intern with a strong sense of design and meticulous production. Candidates should be comfortable with CS6 and have a strong sense of composition, color-management, typography, and organization. We are looking for a budding rock star with great work ethic and motivation to design and build files for web, outdoor, print and collateral.

Video Production Internship

Do you think in video? Do you want to work in a hands-on environment, surrounded by creative people? We’re looking for interns that are interested in learning and developing skills in video production. Our in-house production suite handles everything that goes into making a great video: producing, shooting, sound, lighting, editing, color correction, and all other day-to-day operations within our broadcast department. You’d even have the opportunity to work on set with our production team. Motion graphics experience desired.

If you have a creative eye and a love for video, this position was made for you. Experience in editing or skills in motion graphics are preferred, but not required.
