GNS Healthcare is seeking a driven co-op to support the strategy team. We are looking for a driven undergraduate, graduate, or recently graduated co-op student who is interested in the intersections of technology, biopharma, and business. Applicants who are self-motivated with strong business communication and technical skills, as well as a keen interest in transforming healthcare through science and technology are encouraged to apply. An ideal candidate is someone with a positive attitude who thrives on working in a fast-paced environment in the most cutting-edge industries where big data analytics meets healthcare. The role will be responsible for analysis and market research related to GNS product strategy, strategic partnerships, and corporate development. This is a full-time, 6 month position based out of Cambridge, MA but virtual until further notice.
REPORTS TO: Director of Strategic Initiatives
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our co-op will gain exposure to teams within GNS as well as external partners and clients while addressing strategic questions for GNS. You will support the company's strategic initiatives through engaging in a number of activities, including:
- Conducting market research to drive to critical insights and inform strategy
- Creating documents to communicate analysis and support decision-making
- Preparing for and attending strategic partnership and corporate development discussions and tracking key takeaways, action items, and next steps
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Juniors, seniors, graduate, or recently graduated students
- Self-motivated and driven, with demonstrated interest/experience in life sciences/ biopharma/healthcare and business
- Quantitative and qualitative research skills
- Excellent communicator
SKILL SETS:
- Required: Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
- Preferred: Market research, experience in consulting or investments banking
