Reggora is seeking several Full-Stack Developer Interns or Co-Op Students for the Spring 2020 semester to join our rapidly growing team and work on our cloud-based real estate appraisal platform. This is a great opportunity for a motivated student to work with a growing technology company and accomplished engineering team to evolve our existing products and architecture and implement new features and functionality.

*This role requires at least 3 full-time workdays per week (24+ hours/week) on-site in our Boston office for the Spring 2020 semester. It is ideal for 3rd and 4th year students enrolled at Boston-area universities and colleges. Please do not apply if your class schedule does not allow you to make this commitment to Reggora at this time*

What You’ll Do

  • Build robust and scalable software; design and implement new functionality for Reggora’s products and platform
  • Engage in all aspects of release cycles including requirements review, work estimation, design, implementation, testing, and review
  • Identify gaps in requirements or designs and present options to address them
  • Work with the product team to understand end-user requirements, formulate use cases, and translate them into pragmatic and effective technical solutions
  • Dive into difficult technical problems and successfully deliver results on schedule
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Product team to design new programs and software functionalities and drive solutions towards standardization

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Hands-on experience in coding and software development in a previous professional internship or with class or personal projects
  • Strong OOP and software design knowledge – you should know how to create software that’s extensible, reusable and meets desired coding objectives
  • Experience building APIs
  • Experience with modern front-end design and JavaScript frameworks, such as React, Mongo & Python
  • A track record of successfully completing projects on time and delivering on schedules and commitments
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for solving head-scratching challenges
  • Able to quickly diagnose and solve code problems (StackOverflow is your friend)
  • Able to work independently and within a team
  • Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt under pressure
  • Self-starter who can power through ambiguity and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or possesses extensive development and programming experience and coursework
