The Software Engineer Co-op will work collaboratively with members of the Geoinnovation team to create interfaces for Indigo’s customer-facing applications and backend data solutions that support large-scale data transport; specifically, you will work cross-functionally to help us develop a living map of the world's food system taking learnings from a top down and bottoms up approach. Curating this map will bring transparency to the global supply chain while supporting grower profitability, environmental sustainability, and consumer health. This is a great opportunity to make an impact as a member of a highly efficient and cohesive engineering team that is focused on the customer’s needs and requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Help implement performant APIs according to well-defined technical specifications
- Leverage existing API design patterns to maintain organizational consistency
- Work collaboratively with rest of Engineering team and cross-functional stakeholders

Qualifications:
- Previous engineering internship, job, or co-op experience preferred
- Some understanding of software design, including versioning, isolation and micro-services preferred
- Education: working toward computer science degree (or related field) preferred
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, agile environment required
