About athena: athenahealth is changing the way the healthcare industry works. athena employs around 100 interns in a variety of departments and office locations each summer. We don't believe in "busy work" around here, so our interns are given challenging projects that directly impact the business. Beyond their day-to-day work, interns also attend speaker seminar series’, social and networking events, and give end-of-summer “business impact presentations” to their department’s leadership team to showcase their work.

About Product Education Team:
Product Education team creates the asynchronous training materials used to educate our clients on how to use our software system athenaNet. These include eLearning simulations, demos, tip sheets, user guides as well as the applications used to deliver them such as the LMS and LCMS. We provide in-application electronic performance support to clients with a tool called WalkMe as well as instructional design services to other groups within the organization.
About Product Education Intern: Design, develop and deliver client facing training materials. Our goal is to have the intern complete several training projects from start to finish once they have learned our development process and gain a broad range of technical and design skills.
Responsibilities of the Product Education Intern: The intern will support the work of the instructional designers and application administrators in a variety of ways depending on their skillsets. Activities may include:

Preferred Majors: Instructional Design, Graphic Design, Media, Computer Science Required: Must be tech savvy and can easily pick up new applications, MS Office.
