SimpliSafe is looking for an intern to join our Mobile App team for Summer/Fall 2018. You will be part of a talented, fast moving team that works on both Android and iOS platforms in the world of IoT. Our mission is to Make Every Home Secure, and with your help, we’ll be able to provide our customers with the best apps to purchase and monitor their SimpliSafe system. If you have an interest in consumer tech and connected homes then we want to hear from you!

What you’ll do:

• Work with the product and engineering team to develop features and crush bugs on our mobile platforms.
• Achieve understanding of the product and applications through a combination of trial by fire and guided trainings.
• Participate in code reviews as a supplementary reviewer

About you:

• Junior (3rd year) level or higher in pursuit of a degree in an engineering discipline
• Experience with mobile development (iOS or Android, Objective-c, Swift, or Java)
• Be willing and able to work throughout the summer months on a full-time basis
• Must be a self-starter who enjoys working in a fast paced and dynamic environment
