Thought Industries Product Marketing Internship
Who We Are:
The Thought Industries Product Marketing team is looking for a full-time Intern in our Boston office to join us for the summer of 2020. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing key industry data to help drive decision making while also building collateral that impacts the success of every department. Some core areas of focus within our team include
- Gaining a deep understanding of our competitors through research and diving into market data
- Supporting the sales team through the development of enablement collateral, announcing new features for our platform,
- Coming up with the strategy and approach to how we talk about ourselves within the marketplace.
No matter the specific focus area, our entire team is working towards the same goal of boosting company profitability and increasing brand awareness as a best-in-class online customer training platform.
What You’ll Do:
As the Product Marketing Intern, you will work with the team to assist in all of our core areas of focus. Your primary responsibility will be to aid and work alongside the Director of Product Marketing in executing and strategizing on key product marketing tasks. You will also have the opportunity to support the broader Marketing team allowing you the opportunity to fully round out your marketing background (think events, social media, and the website!). Your work will be instrumental to the success of company marketing campaigns, improved sales results, and proper go-to-market execution.

Some of the projects you will get to be apart of includes:
Market Research: Industry and Buyer Personas
You will get the chance to dive deep into industry data to assist our Product Marketing team in targeting campaigns for those industries.
Go-To-Market Strategy
Support Product and Product Marketing in our monthly release process including (but not limited to) emails, in-product communication, and knowledge center announcements.
Sales Training
Build presentations and sales collateral to support the sales teams throughout their deals.
Who You Are:
- Interest in either furthering existing skills or gaining experience in product marketing at a growing SaaS company
- Experience using Excel, Google Suite is a plus
- Excited about supporting social media, website, and the events team
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
- Keen attention to detail and a knack for organization
- Creative with regards to content and formatting content
- Tech-savvy and comfortable with learning new tools quickly
- Eager to participate in a fast-paced start-up with high expectations
- You’re studying or have studied Business, Marketing, Communications, or have an interest in learning about Product Marketing
