What do Apple, Google, SalesForce, Facebook, and Slack all have in common? Besides being wildly successful SaaS businesses, they’re also platform companies-- each with a diverse ecosystem of integration partners. These deep partnerships provide platform companies with a competitive advantage in their respective markets, helping them become best-in-the-business, world-class companies. HubSpot aims to become the inbound marketing, sales and services platform-- and we’re looking for a marketer to join the HubSpot Connect team and be a driving force behind it.

But be warned-- this isn’t just a marketing role! As a key member of HubSpot Connect, you’ll work cross- functionally across global teams (Business Development, Product, Services and Sales) to:

  • Help acquire, onboard, and certify new HubSpot Connect integrators.
  • Provide ongoing value through co-marketing benefits to the 70+ SaaS companies already in the program.
  • Build out and support programs to help with new user acquisition from Connect Partners
  • Spearhead initiatives to ensure integrations are getting exposure externally with our customers and internally with various teams at HubSpot.

Skills and characteristics we’re looking for:

  • Collaborative: You enjoy working cross-functionally across teams with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Organized and Prioritized: You’re comfortable managing different types of projects of varying scope and with multiple moving parts that require excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Gear Shifter: You’re comfortable shifting types of work throughout the day. In a given day you may analyze an excel spreadsheet, collaborate with an integration partner, and present to the sales team -- all while iterating and improving processes along the way.
  • Analytical: You don’t need to be a marketing ops wizard or an Excel genius, but a general understanding of a spreadsheet and the drive to learn more is a plus.
  • Technical: Pick up new technology -- fast. While we’d certainly love you to be familiar with every technology that comes through Connect, we care much more that you can quickly understand the primary use case of each new integration.
  • Comfortable Being Uncomfortable: We move fast and shift direction frequently! If you’re looking for a role that’s predictable and consistent, this isn’t it.

Some Potential Projects:

  • Optimize the external integrations directory and partner listing pages to aid the partner and new user acquisition.
  • Create and roll-out new benefits for our integration partners to help their companies grow. (Ex. Work with HubSpot Academy team to develop Connect Partner-sponsored training modules and certifications.)
  • Help support internal team goals by creating benefits that mutually support internal teams and external partners. (Ex. Work with the Growth Team to introduce affiliate marketing benefits for Connect Partners)
  • Create and roll-out ongoing sales and services team enablement resources for integrations.
  • Work with Connect Integrators to ensure their optimizing external listings with correct attribution and compelling value propositions.

Must be available July - December, Please note you must still be enrolled in a college program during this time
