ACCOUNTING INTERN/AP SPECIALIST on the North America accounting team will be primarily responsible for the oversight and tasks associated with Accounts Payable which includes, but not limited to, vendor management, processing invoices, maintaining accurate records, and participating in year-end audit. Key individual must have exceptional organizational skills and be attentive to detail, with the ability to multi-task and manage changing demands with a sense of urgency. Must be able to meet strict deadlines.

• Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
• Accurately review, code, and process vendor invoices.
• Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies.
• Perform data entry associated with accounts payable.
• Communicated with vendors to obtain copies of invoices, provide payment status confirmation.
• Address and respond to vendor inquiries.
• Review vendor required forms (W8, W9) and their timely upload in NetSuite.
• Help AP team with email folders review for 2 entities: mimecast North America and Mimecast Canada
• Assist in streamlining the Accounts Payable process.
• Support Finance team with daily cash reconsiliation.
• Assist with audit support as necessary.

• Comfortble using a computer for various tasks beyone general accounting.
• Proficient in data entry and management.
