ASICS Digital is looking for a Data Science Intern for our ASICS Studio app to join the team for the summer and help us build a world class product that makes getting a good workout easy to do whenever it's convenient.

The Data Science Intern will help build a content recommendation engine to be integrated into the ASICS Studio app and allow users to receive personalized recommendations based on inputs such as user data, class metadata, and aggregate behavior data with the end goal of improving usage retention.

Responsibilities:

Brainstorm with the product, data and engineering teams to identify inputs for the algorithmBuild an algorithm to recommend content to users encouraging them to follow the same path as our super usersWork with mobile and platform engineers to integrate the algorithm into the appIterate on the algorithm and work with product to set up in-app A/B experimentsTransfer knowledge of recommendation engine at the end of the summer to the technical team for maintenance

Milestones:Work with the data team to ramp up with the ASICS Studio data structureIdentify inputs for first iteration of the recommendation engineBuild proof of concept with data and establish baseline predictionsWork with the product engineers and platform teams to integrate engine into ASICS StudioIterate on the recommendation engine to try and improve retention rate
