The Team
Kick start your sales career as a member of an enthusiastic, driven, and self-motivated team! On Thought Industries Business Development team you will learn everything you need to know to launch your sales career. You will be a part of the team that generates revenue through pipeline development, fosters relationships, and analyzes customer needs to uncover business challenges and communicates how to overcome them.
The Opportunity
As a Business Development Intern, you will focus on cultivating and qualifying accounts and leads. You will learn about Thought Industries learning platform, our customers, their business challenges, as well as the Thought Industries sales process. You will get the opportunity to work together with your sales, marketing, and other departments, as you work on an internship long project.

You Will...
- Take part in key learning opportunities across both product and sales cycle
- Work with the BDR team to help them build out accounts in Salesforce by researching companies and key prospects for Thought Industries to sell into
- Understand and articulate the value behind Thought Industries learning platform
- Participate in sales training sessions, team meetings, skill-building, and professional development sessions
- Be a contributing source and learn the ins and outs of a fast-growing tech company
Requirements
- Recent College Graduate or working towards a Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Sales, Communications, Marketing) currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Positive, self-motivated, high level of enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn
Bonus Points
- Exposure to a sales process within previous internships or college course level classes
- Familiar with Google Suite
- Prior exposure to CRM tool or prospecting tools
